When I say I live in the Pacific Northwest, people automatically assume Portland or Seattle and there is a lot of rain. While I do live in Portland, I love to travel around the entire Northwest. That includes the lush greenery that most people imagine, but also includes the coast, the mountains, and even the drier eastern portions of the states. I love living here because there is such a variety.
